I use whatever is next to me. I’ve made comics on Japanese stationery, post-it notes, receipts, Sketchbook (the iPad app), and even the paper waitresses use to take orders on (once I was without anything to use and asked a bartender for that, actually more than once). I really like Faber Castell pens, if that helps. :)
